Meet Ann Marie

Ann Marie Sorrell was born in Jamaica and migrated to Pahokee, Florida with her family to be with her grandfather who was a farmworker in the sugarcane industry. Growing up in Pahokee, she was rooted Palm Beach county’s thriving agricultural community and our beautiful Lake Okeechobee which supplies fresh water to residents in Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade Counties.

 Ann Marie is a philanthropist, award-winning business leader, author, columnist, and woman of faith. She lives out loud and is unapologetic in her support of the many causes that are important to her, which include: social justice, issues impacting women and minorities, economic development, environment and conservation, and health & wellness. Ann Marie has a big heart and is a servant leader who puts community first. This is reflected in her daily work, entrepreneurial endeavors, philanthropy, and overall community involvement.  She serves on several community boards and has won numerous awards for her leadership, business acumen, and community involvement.

 Ann Marie is the President & CEO of The Mosaic Group, an award-winning public relations, marketing, and government relations firm serving clients throughout the United States and Caribbean. She is the President & Co-founder of Cannabiziac – a global Cannabiz Incubator, Accelerator, and CoWork community for the cannabis industry. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, music, dancing, golf, traveling, and meeting new people.
